V.A.L's which stands for Value's, Attitudes and Lifestyle. The main dimensions of the V.A.L'S is Primary motivation and Resources . One dimension segments people based on the degree to which they are innovative and have resources such as income, education, self-confidence, intelligence, leadership skills, and energy. For my Primary type I have obtained Achievers they are characterised as people who are motivated by the desire for achievement, Achievers have goal-oriented lifestyles and a deep commitment to career and family. I personally agree with saying I am family orientated, because anyone I considered my family I would die for them. The rest of it I am not so sure. Achievers live conventional lives, are politically conservative and respect authority and the status quo, because I generally buck under most authority figures and unless the status quo is my status quo. Also not very hard working and it says I believe money is the source of all power when I believe money is a sham. Though if you were to adevertise to someone who was a complete Achiever than you would do something like this Dodge Cavan Commercial:
My secondary type is Innovators, they are always taking in information and depending on what kind of information. All in All, VALS is supposed to tell you what is your Primary and secondary life out look, which is helpful when trying to make ads based or directed towards those kind of people.
