Athletics has in the recent years become an intersection of social groups. From the moderately fit, the just dabbling and the complete fitness junkies. In the recent years fitness isn't just for people who are trying to get buff but for people who want to be healthy, who want to be fit and just for everyone in between. An Ad that I loved for a long time was the Champion's Marathon Sports Bra Ad, was an ad that I always loved. I personally am not a marathon runner but this ad targeted athletic women in a way that before no one really had.

This is an older ad but they really got it before other sport wear companies did, but with the growing intersection of athletic types so to speak this ad also limited itself. For while it made it perfectly clear that this was for sports bras they also focused a lot on the fact that t was for marathon runners. In away excluding many women which they obviously didn't want, and honestly since it is kind of old might of not been such a big deal. Though when more recently I saw Nike's Sports Bra Ad I was like they get it. They got would they want to buy their products and how they felt about their breast and working out.
